Hamburg Township, NJ Propane
Hamburg is a borough in Sussex County, New Jersey with a population of around 3,277 residents. The borough has a total area of around 1.17 square miles, with .02 of those square miles consisting of water. Back in the year 1751, Hamburg as it is now, was a part of New Town. On February 25, 1762, it became a part of the newly formed Hardyston Township. On April 8, 1793, Vernon Township was created from a part of Hardyston Township. The boundary was finally moved in the year 1852, and Hamburg was moved back into Hardyston Township. Hamburg was finally incorporated into a new borough on March 19, 1920 from parts of Hardyston Township. The borough was named for Hamburg, Germany.
