Sharon Hill, PA Propane
Sharon Hill, a borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, is home to around 6,400 residents with excellent access to the SEPTA 102 Trolley. Interestingly enough, Sharon Hill had barely established itself until the 19th century. Its surroundings were mostly undeveloped until 1872, when they had the Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore Railroad rails run through the area. Before, only a few homes and farms covered the land.
If you are looking for something exciting to fill your time, and you enjoy nature, not too far away from Sharon Hill is the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum. Here, you can immerse yourself in 10 miles of walking trails through wooded forests. There’s also an impoundment pond and the largest remaining freshwater tidal marsh in Pennsylvania at about 300 acres. You and your family can enjoy the marsh ON the marsh too, with a 4.5 mile run of Darby Creek by canoe or kayak. There are also fishing rods and binoculars you can borrow at the front desk and refuge trails that are open free of charge every day from sunrise to sunset. The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum also offers free recreational and educational programs throughout the entire year.
